(Grayback is a Dire Lion)
Grayback crouched, belly brushing the ground. He was exctited; there was a loner female in the area. He had plans, many plans.
He drooled as he stalked the female dragon. He had to get rid of the dragons. Then, the Dires would rule the land.
A week before, the leader of the main Dire Wolf pack and the king of the main Dire Lion pride had met and planned. They needed to kill all the dragons. They were just a nuisance. And they knew nothing of power; all being kind and respectful of each other. The Dires were different.
And soon, all four Dire breeds might be united. The Dire Eagles now existed, according to an old Wolf who had come to the Lands. The Wolf packs had later killed her, after they got all the information they needed. Also, there were rumors of a Dire Serpent, but no one knew of these.
But now, there was a dragon to kill.
Grayback bunched his legs, and lept.
(ooc: The dragon is Shinra)

Shinra roared as her tail swept back so fast it whipped the lion on the side of the face, she was quick to notice him. "Dire Lions." she hissed and turned around flaring her wings out as wide as she could get them to go. Her eyes turned a deep blue and she reared up and roared once again as her claws inched from her paws and curved ready to deal the utmost damage if needed. "What do you want beast?" Shinra growled as a crown sparkled on her head.

Grayback panted excitedly as he turned to face her again. He shifted his weight, then sprung again, throwing all his weight towards her, claws out. He turned to the side at the last minute and grazed her flank on his way past her.

Shinra moved quickly and swung her tail around again as she roared, Dire Lions were very large and powerful creatures. She threw her wings out towards the lion to blow wind at him before fire seemed to ignite on her wings, the fire fueled by the air it fed on. The winds rushed past as fire seemed to spread around them but stayed in a perfect ring around them, doing little damage to the forest.
