Hazel and Araeya flew together over the large feild, when suddenly, Araeya dived down, alighting on a large rock.
"Hey!" protested Hazel and followed.
Araeya giggled and flashed him a toothy grin.
Hazel smiled, then raised his head.
"Hey, I smell Tigera!" he exclaimed happily.
"Ok, well, don't scare it away!" said Araeya quietly and scanned the area. When she saw it, she pionted it out to Hazel.
He lunged for it without looking and pounced on it. But he didn't see the pack of Dire wolves there waiting. They jumped on him and started ripping at his flesh.
Hazel cried out for Araeya, and she came flying low, to his rescue.
She swiped one away with her paw, then created a force feild around her and Hazel. Then, she morphed to human and got her bow. She cast a freezing spell on the pack and shot at them, eventually releasing the spell when she had shot two.
After she was sure they were gone, she let down the force feild.
"Are you ok?" she asked as she ran over to Hazel.
He was laying on the ground, vigorously licking his flank where he was bit.
"Stop!" she said desperately and pushed his muzzle away. "I need to break the skin to release the pus. It'll get even worse infected if you lick it."
She called for Chaser, her merchandizer, in tought-speak and he arrived soon with her knapsack. She rumaged around for a while then pulled out an iron stick.
"Can you light a fire?" she asked him.
He shrugged.
"Sure." he went off to the side then created a spark with magic. that he caught on a long stick, which he brought to Araeya.
She held the tip of the stick to the fire , then jabbed sharply at Hazel's flank.
He cried out and snapped at her.
"Sorry!" he said, moving back.
"It's ok." said Araeya softly. She moved towars him and pushed on the hole. A whole bunch of pus squirted out at Araeya and she had to didge to avoid it.
"Ew..." she commented dryly.
After that, she grabbed a small silver bottle from her bag and poured it on a peice of cloth. Then she pressed it to Hazel's flank. The skin smoked a bit, and when she took it off, the skin was good as new.
"H-how d'you- but- What is that stuf??" asked Hazel, tripping over each question.
"It's Platinun blasthorn blood and horn. And something else. I forget." She smiled reassuringly.
